25-35 days has passed and I haven't heard anything... I know sometimes things taker longer than anticipated so I'll wait a few more days before I call. Hopefully they are getting close.

I spoke with him a few days ago and he had explained to me some issue with supply shortage and needing to get a metal somewhere else. He said he expected the push back on the decision they had to make and readjust should only have cost about a week. I forgot the exact estimate but I think he expected to have them complete in his shop in about 2 weeks.

just placed my order. Brian said he might have 1 more left in the current run, and that it would be 1 or 2 weeks.

I'm just asking, are there other companies that make 5.5 gen headers besides OBX and Cattman? I have been searching the web for awhile and that is all I can find.

Ebay Altima header (require fab), CustomMaxima Performance racing headers & SSAutoChrome (Stone Mountain racing), is all I can think of.......

I got that same email, however, I have not received a new one stating that they are ready and shipping. It's May 11th....I wonder what the deal is?

Has anyone else heard from Brian?

This is what he sent me

Hello (anxious) Cattman header customers,

I know that everyone is impatient waiting for these headers (6th gen Maxima
and 05/06 Altima) and header/y-pipe sets (95-03 Maxima) to be complete - I
sure am, anyway. *So I wanted to provide what should be a last minute
update.

Production has been set back while waiting for the mandrel bender to deliver
the last tubing size; most of the tubing has arrived, and most of the
fabrication is complete. *I'm told they should be finished tomorrow or
Friday, but I'd still allow a day or two of slippage. *Takes a day to get to
me, and a day to pack, then they're out the door. *For example, if I receive
them next Monday, they should ship Tuesday.

This email is not the final notice - I will still send that out when I know
the parts are complete, but that should go out in the next couple of days,
so please be sure to have your finances lined up and ready to pay the
balance. *Being done early might be a reason for not having the funds ready,
but being done late is not.

Your patience is appreciated!

Brian C Catts

Waiting for another minimum of 10 people...

I got off the phone with Brian tonight, very, very nice guy, very patient, and I placed an order for the 3-piece set of headers and y-pipe for my 2k Max, Cali-spec. He told me that I am the 5th guy on the new list of headers, so if anyone missed out on the last batch of headers, this is your chance to get on the list.
Now I just have to find someone who can install these w/ O2 sims or extend the pre-cat O2 sensors into the B-pipe...anyone from NY/NJ who can do this???

I also got on the new list for headers - ypipe but am having trouble finding a shop "willing" to do the install. The headers wont do me any good sitting in the garage ..... Looks like I was the 7th person .. so a new batch might not be far off...

.... unless someone sells me there spot *wink, wink*

My shipment arrives on Friday. I need to still pull my old motor out (only motor mounts remaining) and install oem goodies such a timing chain tsb and gaskets and sensors and lower and upper oil pan. Then slap on these sexy headers drop her in and love my car all over again.

Since everyone is sharing, mine will arrive Friday and will go on in August, once I get a break from school and can swap motors. I may be interested in a catback, but not until I see how my current exhaust sounds with the equal length y-pipe.

I have a set of Cattman headers inroute so no need for a y pipe. I plan to supercharge my max at some point so I will be getting a Cattman 3" catback. It's just a matter of when

None that I know of .. I am going to piece my own "Kit" together. I have build several Turbo Z's so I'm not new to forced induction... It also helps having a uncle with a dyno !

sorry for the cheap plug on the Y pipe- I am trying to get our group deal to come to fruition.

I think people have used modified Pontiac GXP superchargers and I am sure a Z/G set up can be modified, I would think a turbo may be more cost effective tho

It's cool man I understand .

As far as the supercharger it will work or my power goals I'm looking for something streetable and I am just not into getting turbo headers after dropping 900 on a set of Cattmans . Never tried a supercharger so we will see I guess...
