Hey Guys you might wanna install those headers with some copper gaskets (between the exhaust manifold and the ypipe) and call it the day... SCE gaskets p/n 4220 available from Summit Racing, etc

Are the gaskets it comes with not good enough?

Also I read that there is supposed to be some type of insulation included for a coolant hose. I hope i searched the package well enough but I did not see this. Anyone else missing this?

One time use only..while the 4220 are bulletproof reuseable copper gaskets! You'll see when you get them...they're good but not SS (Like of the Oems) nor copper!

Your bottleneck is that your running 2.25" header collectors/y-extensions...when you should be running a 2.5" header collector and a 3" y-pipe with 3" exhuast....GET ON IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

The list for the second batch is still up. I believe Brian needs 3 more people to start production. Give him a call, very friendly and will answer all of your questions. 1-800-759-9920

For a normal bolt-on setup, no. For someone who wants to squeeze everything NA, then yes.

What are you guys doing with the rear O2 sensors? I wrapped mine in foil and used stainless zip ties to strap them to the cross member under the engine. No CELs with several drive cycles.

My secondaries are plugged into my primary ports and I only have primary codes because they are completely unplugged. So try and just leave them dangling somewhere but still plugged in.

Don't worry, I think you can still get in with this upcoming batch. I was wondering about the fitment issues of the last batch too. I hope this batch won't have any issues. I'm just hoping there won't be any problems finding O2 sims.

Fitment was perfect. The real b_tch was getting the old stuff off. Nice sound. A little buzzy until warmed up. Very pleased overall but would not want to go through the process again of removing the stock stuff.

So you're talking possible race headers if you wanna squeeze out everything.....So do you know of a Maxima with this or are you just comparing it to the header design of the Z crowd? You got headers on your GTP?

I guess the previous group of headers got everthing straight regarding the flange? I haven't seen any whining so they must have straightened out their issues?

I finally got around to installing mine yesterday after work (finished around 3:00 am) but sure enough I had to widen 3 holes on each header which was a little annoying but not a big deal. I did the job on jackstands which made things a little more difficult but now that I have done the job once I know I could do it again in much less time. I can definitely feel the extra power and I love the sound of headers with the stock catback (quiet growl). Now I just need to find someone who is selling O2 sims (o2sim.com is currently not taking orders)
