Heated Seat Switch

The drivers side switch still works but the little yellow glow light is burnt out. Anyone ever take the switch apart and replace the light? Is it a normal bulb or a LED (or something else)?

I took mine apart for cleaning a few years ago. There is a little bulb inside, and I do recall it being replaceable.

If you take the switch apart and post a picture of the bulb, I betcha someone here can say "hey, that's the same bulb as (x)" and then you can get a new one through Dave Burnette at Southpoint Nissan 888-254-6060

On my 4th gen I put a little 3mm led in there. I lost all the pics of when I did it though so I can't help you with a stock replacement.
Why don't you just call Nissan? They should be able to help you out

did you just replace the bulb or did you have to add a resistor or something. i know nothing about these things and mine is burnt out too but was looking to replace both of them with a blue bulb

I replaced mine. It wasn't that hard. When you take the switch apart, bring the old bulb to radioshack and find one comparable in size.

You need to install a resistor IIRC.
If you don't know what you're doing, do as suggested, take it to radio shack or whatever and try to get them to match a bulb up.

Tuner is right, you'd need to know which lead is + inside the switch in order to put on the led. Best option is going to radioshack and getting a similar replacement if they have it.

^ If you mean the switch light is on, then it's not a blown fuse.
Try swapping the switches left to right (drivers seat to passenger seat)

The switch may be faulty, this is not uncommon.

The bulbs in all those switches blow out at some point. I replaced all mine with red LEDs. I haven't had an issue since.
