So, I've had my 5.5 gen for a week now and only a few fairly minor issues (BOSE ribbon issue, 17-18 mpg) and now I am disappointed because the sunroof only seems to crack open. Is this normal? I always assumed a sunroof was suppose to fully open, like on my old '94 Integra, but I think that was actually classified as moonroof because it slid inside the roof. Any comments? I did a search and seems that people have common issues with the switches, etc., but I wish I could find a picture or other information to confirm if the sunroof if suppose to fully open or not.

It should fully open. You'll have to reset it to get it to work properly. To do this:

1. Turn the ignition to accessories and make sure the roof is completely closed.
2. Using the "vent" switch, open the sunroof completely by pushing it repeatedly. Then close it in the same manner.
3. Once the sunroof is completely closed, continue to hold down the button for 10 seconds.
4. Turn off the car, the repower up the accessories and slide the open button all the way back, the sunroof should now retract completely.

Hope this helps, same problem happened to me when I disconnected the battery.

It is supposed to full open or tilt up in the back. There is a reset procedure that may help. Just push the tilt button closed for 10 seconds continuously and try opening it again. They seem to have more issues if you don't use the sunroof regularly.

mine has issues to, just do the reset and if that dont work, the dealer can do it

Did the reset, and works great. VERY happy, now just need some 50+ weather.

You said you had problems with bose ribbon cable? did that cause your radio/steering wheel controls to not work all the time?
