Center Console Swap?

Hey all, I was recently looking at an I35 and was wondering if you could swap the console from the I35 into a 5.5 gen. I like the wood grain look of course and overall style better. The ashtray/power outlet area look to be the same and so do the the sides of the center console where the side foot well pieces snap in and in general seems to be the same, as i would imagine it is... Aside from the fact the there is no parking brake level slot built in, can anyone confirm if the whole center console swap is a direct swap? Thanks in advance..

Idk I had an entire one and I ended up throwing it away, not even the top piece above the center console wouldn't swap.

full i35 interior swap into maxima would be cool. I am pretty sure there is space to bolt up the foot brake pedal on the maxima

I know about the parking brake, i was asking if aside from that are there any other obstacles inhibiting the installation of the console? It appears the mounting points on the back of the console near the back of the front seats are identical to the maxima, and where the 2 screws secure the console to the middle of the dash just in front of the shifter seem to be the same too. But I wasnt able to tell if the shifter trim that contains the 12V outlet and ashtray was the same shape or if it would fit into place in the maxima. You would think theres a good possibility of them interchanging no problem but i want to be sure before i go out and buy a console...speaking of which anyone have any ideas of places to get one without paying an arm and a leg? i havent seen anything relative in the classifieds..

Shifter trim won't fit either. I thought it would and since it was woodgrain i thought it would be better to use for my carbon fiber vinyl project. In the end there was a nice big gap where it meets the hvac unit -_-
