Replacement Key Fob

Does anything know where I can find a key fob for a 2000 Maxima at a decnt price? I pulled mine apart and the buttons are all suck down I tried to clean them and I ended up breaking one of the electrical joints on one of the micro buttons. I would just solder the joint it but the buttons are still stuck in the open position and I cannot get them to budge.

I literally just bought one on eBay. It's supposedly OEM, but of course used. I can let you know if it works out when I get it?

Okie Dokie, I hate buying used stuff lol. I always have a fear that the same thing is wrong with the "new" replacement I am getting.

I bought my replacement form an on-line store that sold (new) Nissan oem keyfobs. Search for Nissan key fobs and you will get plenty of choices. I think the prices for a new key fob start at around $55.

I was looking online today at ebay and they had a new oem one for about $25. Stay away from the used ones. They will be gummed up just like your old one.

Check ebay. I purchased a used one off of there and programmed it myself. I think i paid about $15 for it and it was very easy to program.

I reprogrammed mine although it didn't work exactly as instructions said. I tried forever to insetr the key 6 times in 10 seconds and could never get the hazard lights to flash. Finally, I just pushed a button on the FOB and it worked. So you may not see the lights flashing like the instructions say.

Ebay spare keys work. Just the programming is the little effort.

I recently did this like 3 months ago got 3 new sets of keys off of ebay, chipped keys and oem fobs brand new. Bought them from a guy named artiway, hes located in taiwan, which made me VERY VERY skeptical, but everything went well and keys worked like a charm, super easy to program. I think i paid like 80-90 for all 3 sets.
