I'm off to the garage I use to work on my car, to install the Megan exhaust I picked up recently. I know my y flex is ripped, and I've decided against headers, so I'll evaluate the overall condition of the Y and decide this weekend if I am in on the group buy or will simply have the flex replaced. Will advise.
Cheers.
edit: Garage will have to wait til next Saturday, sorry guys. Too much friggin work to do and I'm out of town all week.

Let us know how you make out. It's so very close to happening now. 1 more to go!
I have a count of 9 members that indicated they were in on the order. That's without the possibility of StevieB.

I think so, but I'm terrible about connecting screen names with real people and their orders, so could you send another email to bcatts at cattman dot com with your actual name so I can confirm? I'll report back to the group if this means we need two more orders rather than one.

Brian, I tried calling today around 11am from toronto, but im not sure what the time difference is, so I left a message. I have my payment info ready, im probly the only one who called from ontario today about the y-pipe so you should know its me. Hopefully im the last one so we can all have these bad boys soon!

Congratulations on making this happen, spock. And to everyone here who stuck with their commitment. It was interesting watching this thread come and go.

It's been almost 3 months since I began this quest. It was kind of iffy for the first 2, but I think the warm weather brought on the final flury, (OK not really a flury), of orders. Happy to see this happening B4 summer is over!
11 orders to boot, and I bet there's a couple more to come.

One more
Left Brian a voicemail order this morning with all required info. Off to Cuba for a week tomorrow and didn't want to miss the opportunity-glad to see this worked out. Flex-pipe is toast on mine, and this is the best alternative. Thanks for setting this up spock!
(yes I know, I'm a ba@#%rd for taking so long to get off my *** and commit, when my order could have gotten the ball rolling sooner
..new job, no friggin time)

Although I've actually tendered the production order, I haven't sent out the email to you guys saying its time for the deposits yet. I'll probably send that out tomorrow, including a rough estimate of how long it will take.
What I can do right now is let you know the final price. Recall that we wrote the orders up at $350, but I reserved about $20 in wiggle room pending a final quote from my supplier (we haven't made these in a long time, steel prices have gone up, etc.). Well, I don't need all $20, the final price will be $365 and that reflects all member discounts, etc.

Well, it's a reality. Credit cards are being charged and production is underway.
A biggg thanks to the ORG and all those that made this happen.
This production will, (in my opinion) probably be the last run. Given the age of our cars and the length of time it took to make it happen.

It won't be long now! I recieved an email indicating that shipping should begin the end of next week.
Now to figure out whether to do it myself or not.
I should do an oil change this weekend, so I'll have a look @ things while I'm under there and decide.

Yes, he's always reliable in that way. All I can say is search for Warpspeed, read all the comments, and decide for yourself if that's the kind of product you want to buy and install.
OTOH, if you want a y-pipe that fits properly, doesn't have any unwelded "floppy flanges", lasts practically forever, and provides the most horsepower, a batch of the superior y-pipes we sell should be ready within the next several days.
I'm going to be traveling for a while after this batch arrives and I'd like to be able to ship everything out at once, so I'm offering a $15 finders fee for any referrals that lead to sales of the 2-3 units that are left.
If you send someone to us for a purchase, ask them to provide your name and email address, and I'll make sure the finders fee gets into your hands. If someone with a current order is the "finder", I'll simply subtract $15 from your total. We can be contacted at 800.759.9920, open 9-5 (west coast time), M-F.
As always, my thanks to (almost) everyone for your support of Cattman Performance and our products!

Brian, when you originally designed the y-pipe for the 5.5 gen, did you ever dyno the setup matched to gutted pre-cats? If not, do you have an educated guess to the HP gains with that configuration?
I ask, because I have your y-pipe matched to gutted pre-cats, the OEM main-cat, and the Cattman 2.5" cat-back. And after hollowing out the pre-cats, my upper range got a pretty good boost.
Figured yours would be an educated opinion.
