Gremlins in my headrest?

I like my driver's headrest to be all the way down, so when I got the car I lowered it.

A month or two later, it was up a couple of notches, so I lowered it again, not really thinking much about it.

Yesterday, I had to lower it two notches again. Huh? I am the only driver of the car, why does the headrest magically seem to elevate itself every month or so. Am I nuts (a possibility) or does this thing happen with your Max as well?

There is a tag on the headrest that says "Active Head Restraint", maybe mine is just overactive?

You know what I notice I've lowered mine a few times too but I thought nothing of it, I guess they move up over time

I think your family members are playing jokes on you. I could see it slipping down, but it would have to have some force to push it up. Two notches? Maybe the lock is stuck and the way your head is positioned against it getting out of the car is the reason? Try to lubricate the internal lock.

Mine has slipped up one notch from all the way down more than once, but not two notches. I think in my case its just from getting in and out of the car.
