reinstalled calipers.. brake light on..

reinstalled calipers.. brake light on..

I took off my calipers to paint them and after the installation, and brake bleed, the brake light is on.. The fluild is topped off so is there something im missing? thanks..

Is the ABS light on or the BRAKE light?

ABS would mean you may have annoyed one of the ABS sensors.

As for the brake light, I would double check the fluid level &/or the sensor in the reservoir for the fluid level.

Double check that the parking brake lever is all the way down.

Also make sure the float in the reservoir didn't get stuck. I've had that happen on other cars before.

Stuck float maybe what it is but how do u get to it? Its like a plastic screen in the opening.

Usually a tap on the side will unstick it.
