Ebay Headers?

Heard of a lot of ebay crap. Ebay catback, test pipe, resonator etc. But headers? Claims to make 10-15 HP gain. Anyone heard anything on these, there cheap. Not looking to buy them because of that Just curious though.

For $70 more, go with OBX.

Those just look like stock without the pre-cat, I would of figured you had headers putting 221 to the wheels or maybe alot of other bolt ons......

Im going to mine myself, seem easy but time consuming, but a whole day I know I can handle it, Cattman takes 30% down when he gets 10 people and then you pay the rest in like 6-8 weeks when there completed....I was #7. Just in case you want to hop on the list...

Equal Length (FTW) OBX's are about $380 shipped. The unequal (FTL) OBX's are only about $20-$30 cheaper so you might as well.

Be forewarned, it doesnt have an EGR port. Also some grinding and o2 bung relocating is required. Still VERY MUCH worth it!!!!

My bad as well, over looked the price, the 3.0L Obx are about $350 shipped. But still, I wouldn't trust those ebay headers.

The gain on the ebay headers are the same as a normal Y pipe alone. Those are shorty headers and are very similar to stock Fed spec manifolds and dont flow much better. Also the piping is small. Its not a good idea to cheap out on headers. Our cars are a ***** to work on so do the job once. Get quality headers with OEM metal gaskets and new O2 sensors.

I had a Warpspeed Y and it lasted 7 years in Maine. Not bad considering it was $160 new. WPS makes good stuff. If youre on a budget just get a Y pipe. If youre Cali spec get a Fed spec front manifold and y pipe.

I have these headers installed on my car, I think they sound pretty good for what they are and install was a brezze. Nothing extra had to be done to get them installed. Compared to what i have heard about the obx quality and long livity, these headers are better.
I Definitely feel a big power diffrence

How long have you had these headers installed? If I recall correctly, you haven't had them on for more than a few months based on the posts from you I remember about them. Have you been on a dyno before and after to test the gains from them?

I'm not trying to be an ***, but to say they're better than OBX headers because you like how they sound and you've heard some things about OBX headers without actually doing any comparisons or having numbers to support your point is invalid and misleading.

shorty headers = garbage. if you are going to go thru the trouble of installing, might as well install ones that actually give you power..

i said from what i heard about the obx's. i think mine are better.. i have had no problems with them so far in the last few months of owning them. i wasnt saying they make as much power as the obx's but who really knows but i know they make power.. no before dyno but i will dynoing some time in the next few weeks.

THIS!!

Although for us A32's its the ypipe that matters more. Equal length or bust.

No they don't and you should look into getting the ones that say 02-03, even some guys with 95-99 pick 02-03 think for equal y-pipe and to me they look better....

Power delivery is smooth throughout the ENTIRE powerband with equal length. Unequal moves power to the top.

Havent had em before in my hands so I cant say nothing but if anybody wants Cattman Headers he only needs 3 more people for the group buy, and yes the price is way higher than OBX....Superb in Quality though...
