Well looks like the transmission in the 2000 is dying. And is leaking fluid now too. Gear noise, rattling sound in neutral when you let off the clutch, etc. Problem is I cant seem to find any decent used ones out there. Car-part.com has some, but most are high mileage and they want between $700-$1000 for them. Its limping by for now, and I on average only drive a mile total a day for work and back, so I can take a little time in shopping, but I'm going to have to find something within the next couple months. Any ideas? Where have some of you gotten your replacements?

just look on craigslist... thats what i did. it took a few weeks but i finally found one with just under 100k for $175... replaced the throw out bearing and slapped it in... runs and shifts beautifully.. good luck on your seach!
