Opinions needed please: spring/strut
Currently in the market for a good spring/strut combo. I was looking at Illuminas + progress. However, called Bryan today at Cattman to order the springs and apparently they aren't manufactured anymore. Long story short, I'm in need of a new spring. I've been looking at Vogtland + Illumina.
I am after some current opinions of people who current;y run this spring or spring/strut combo and what they think (likes, dislikes, handling, drop, etc...). Also, users who used this spring / combo in the past please feel free to comment.
Please do not try to convince me to get coilovers. I would prefer a spring / strut combo as I am on a budget and the roads in my area aren't exactly forgiving.
Thanks in advance for any and all information.

KYB GR2 + Tien H-Tech. Same ride comfort as stock but much tigther when cornering. Never bottomed out even when going 20 mph over parking lot speed bump. The rear is not much of a drop, but noticable. Front drop is about 1.6. All 4 corner have 1.5" gap between tire and fenderwall. Much better looking when fitted with bigger offset wheels.

I have illuminas.....extremely comfortable paired with my H&R's....i would say better than stock comfort wise when illuminas are set low to comfort settings and blows the stock handling out of the water when set high or to stiffer settings....my only draw back? ....H&R's rear springs create a sagging effect....its either too low in the rear or the front needs to be lower to have the proper stance...many end up riding with stock rear spring including myself or go with a different brand lowering spring for the rear that isnt so low....
