I think I paid a little under $400 for just the header install, but then I needed to replace one or two of the O2 sensors, plus had some other stuff done, so my total cost was higher.

cattmans would be cheaper as you shouldnt have to weld a new bung or anything....also providing you have gaskets and 02 sims

DAYUM!!!!! What the heck!!! Thats robbery.......I was quoted $400 with engine in the bay...so I decided to wait until I get my motor built in March to get them installed. Don't make no sense paying once to install and then paying again to have engine removed and do the crap of taking them off AGAIN....save money and get everything done while they got the engine out the car. I was told it would be WAY easier to do when the engine is out. What kind of shop quoted you that crazy price???

I'll match Cmax03's cattman install price on the OBX

He just doesn't like OBX.

You figure most shops charge a little under 100/hr but I guarantee you can find a places to do it for 400 or under. Someone out there is always looking for work

He's clearly in Kentucky. His profile says 502.
Why can't you just do it yourself? No tools? No jack? No stands?

Damn talk about robbery if that was the case in my area I would spend a day and do it myself, out in my area 200 to 250 with my mechanic....but 400 or more I would start early Saturday morning and get it done by night.....
