Wet in all the wrong places...

Ok so my passenger floor has become pretty moist/wet twice in the past 3 weeks. The first time, the floor was fairly drenched so i removed the carpet and soaked up the water from the insulation under the carpet. I read up on the subject and I came across the fact that a wet carpet is most likely the symptom of a clogged AC drain plug. I couldn't locate and drain plug that was supposedly unhooked from anywhere so I let the carpet air dry and went on my way. Today again I checked the carpet under my floor mat and felt a pretty damp carpet. Any insight to something else causing this to happen. If it is the AC drain plug, where is it located?
If it helps at all, the carpet is only wet closer to the passenger seat, not closer to the firewall. Also, Maximilian has a sort of rough idle when the AC is on but I don't think the two are related (Thinking maybe because something is clogged within the AC system, it is resulting in a rough idle? Im not sure...)
There are sort of two separate problems here, but I really want to get this carpet issue fixed as fast as possible because classes start on monday and I really don't want to deal with a horrible stench from a constantly wet carpet.

Also pull down the headliner and see if the sunroof drain hose came out, it has happened to me.

Sounds like your ac overflow hose is clogged should be located behind the glove box attached to the floor

Might also want to take compressed air and blow out your sunroof drain hoses. Sometimes they get clogged and that can cause leakage. Happened to me a three years ago.

I tried removing the headliner but was unsuccessful. Where is the drain hose located?

Open the sunroof. The drain hoses are in the corners.

make sure its water, and not engine coolant.
if your heater core burst a hole, it would be leaking into the cabin.

check your coolant level, and put the car on HEAT and see if you see or hear anything dripping or pissing out. and feel around.
