Exhaust problems

Ok, so I went to replace my ypipe, gut my pre cat, and put on 3 in exhayst yesterday. Everything was going quite smooth. then I snapped the last of the 5 bolts holding the pre cat on, then got to the main cat bolts. Wow, there really wasnt any bolts, just a big mess of rust. Vise grips won't even work. Thank u up north... So my questions r, will the pre cat be fine with only 4 outta 5 boltsholding it in? And the best I can come up with for the main cat is cut the bolts/studs, drill out the rest, put new nuts bolts washers on and cross fingers. Thoughts, concerns, suggestions... Thanks in advance
Chris

I'd say drill it a bit more and put new bolts in place. Or stop by Nissan and pick up new bolts...idk if they sell them individually though.

Post vids when its all done bc soon ill have the same setup as you!

I had the same problem when I replaced my catback. I just drilled out the old bolts on the main cat, used the new gasket/bolts/nuts/washers that came with the catback. No leaks/problems!

Sorry, I can't comment on that. I'm OEM from the main cat forward. But I suspect it may leak.

Wth! It can't be that hard to separate the precat from the manifold once all the bolts are removed.... But it is. Prying and beating have gotten me nowhere. Help

Well I'm an idiot. I got it done. Hacked the crap outta the ypipe to get it off. Now to find replacement bolts. Does anyone know if the cattman ypipe was supposed to come with new bolts? Figured out that the old bolts aren't going to work.
