More time with mine has me thinking it's a little "throatier" @ idle and lower rpms. I also have a SRI with hemholtz, (or however you spell it). No louder @ wot, if anything a little quieter on the intake noise. Which is fine by me. Hey, I'm not looking to set off any alarms, (reference to another post).
I did install NWP spacers a couple of weeks prior to the new ypipe.
My findings are more power out of the hole and low rpm are quite noticable. Mid range to upper rpm doesn't feel like a strong pull, but the tach and speedo say otherwise. Not sure what's going on here. I can feel the vias kick in a lot more now as well. Hmmm, guess I shouldn't have sold my NWP BOP last year. Tried it b4 the pipe & spacers and noticed a loss of power in the low end.

I'll probably order another one. It's easy enough and inexpensive enough to try again. If I don't like it this time I'll screw it to my work bench as a reminder.

I thought you guys saw a pic at Matt's place...
I'm not making these in mass quantities. Each on is hand made, cut on a band saw, filed and polished, then media blasted to look more like the OEM plate. They are 1/2" thick 6061 aluminum

I thought you made one that was this thick plastic-like material, and painted black... no? Am I not remembering that right?

No, you can use the OEM bolts, if you look at the OEM plate it is thicker at the bolt holes.

I'm sure it would be easy enough to find a decent powdercoater in your area. Guarantee if I dropped that off at the guy I found last year, it wouldn't cost more than $15 give-or-take to have it coated.

I can ceramic coat stuff myself now. Got a small air brush. I coated my LIM and new BBMAF in black velvet and they turned out perfect. I used a product called cilgen. It doesn't require baking in an oven so very easy to use.
