1 post and he starts a thread? Is the whole Forum down with the search? We're back to the bare essentials? Can we post in lockedthreads too now orwhat?

Anyways OP, there is no performance IM for the DE-K, but as others have said, you can get a spacer kit that will help a bit. Although, it's not really worth it on the DE-K IMO because our IM is plastic, and as such, doesn't benefit from the temperature drop that is such a big performance aspect of the spacers.

Y-pipe is where you should attack first, most bang for the buck on your car, period.

Any VQ can benefit from an IM with a big plenum.

Do some research, figure out the optimum plenum volume/intake pipe length, get someone to make a sheetmetal one for you.

Ok, what are your engine mods? Do you have a catback exhaust, lightened crank pulley, intake, some type of tune?

Not sure, Ive never done it. But plenty of plastic intake manifolds can be ported with a dremel and some basic bits.

Search LS2 intake manifold porting for details on how the chevy guys do it.

Im not sure if its do able or been done on the 00vi, im just throwing the idea out there.

it's an idea that would require removal of the powerrod assembly I think, in either case it's probably just as practical to mate the 2k2/2k3 IM
