rubbing/squeaky noise when turning

Car can be idle or moving and sound is still there. Sound seems to be from the front passenger but might be driver. I wont know until i have time to listen. I recently changed the suspension and brakes. I just did a quick check and PS fluid seems to be correct and a quick inspection of the wheel well shows no signs of damage. Anyone have insight on what might make the sound. Its almost like a lower pitch belt squeal sound.

Thanks in advance.

I assume that the caliper was moving nicely before you re-installed the new brakes, have you re-checked the new brake pads? perhaps one or both are not seated properly and one side may be dragging on the rotor.

I replaced a caliper when i did the brakes. I will check the pads. I ordered hawk pads and the box said fronts but they didnt match quite right. That will be my first check next day off. Thanks

I just got out if work. Start my car and leave the door open to listen. Right now it is only when the wheel is fully or ALMOST full turned and it sounds more like someone spraying air or a hiss even...

If it's coming from the passenger side and sqweaks at idle I would suggest checking the belts. I had a similar problem after installing new brakes and it turns out the calipers where the problem.

I've got that same problem but never thought much of it. It only makes the sound when the wheel is turned all the way on one side but not all the time.

Mine also makes a kind of hiss/moan/whine when fully locked but its not really noticeable. I always assumed it was just part of the hydraulic system.
