Car won't start... smoke

Hi,

My friend have a 2k maxima. he have the P0505 code, so yesterday we change the IACV. Once everything done, we start the car and he was running good, idle perfect... after 3 or 4 minutes, the car stop by himself and a big white smoke came off the engine... So for now, the car won't start anymore, nothing's leaking on the ground. We look at the spark plug and everything's ok, fuel pump is working... So now I need your help..

p.s. it's an A/T

Ok .... so I called a good nissan mechanic and he told me that the IACV that I drop in the car was defect and create a short in the ECM and fried it ! the IACV dropped some coolant in the intake ... thats why I saw some white smoke .... so now I need a new IACV and an ECM.

You keep the coolant lines into your TB?

Geez, you must have done the coolant bypass. The problem maybe was be that the gasket in your IACV wasn't good and the coolant leaked into the step motor of the IACV and it caused the short circuit that fried your ECM.
