60+ MPH "wobble", I've done the obvious ...

Problem fixed with the SE 17's, going to install my LW 17x8's in the coming weeks and see if the same behavior is noticed. Before I do that, I'll clean up the 5mm spacers I use with those (10mm spacers are used with the OEM SE's), but before that, I'll install without spacers.

Your wheels just might not be flush with the hub, dent or something who knows maybe the spacer is even bent slightly from over torquing over and over. Thats a ****ty problem to have considering it starts at 60mph.

I've always stood by these spacers. So hopefully it's just user error.

H&R's are just about the best IMO. Its not a complicated part at all but I rode in a civic with cheap Ebay spacers and it almost seemed like the bearing was going bad because there was a very noticeable "shake", almost like the tires were badly unbalanced, above about 70mph. So obviously it can be screwed up.

CV's aren't a big deal. Complete replacement axle with CV's is an easier job and about the same money as replacing just a single rubber boot and can be done without alignment. Just watch & inspect the transmission seal.
