ok depends what your going for overall light output or facny show i mean if you want a quality set of hids gunna cost you 200$ the ones you were looking at are bottom of the line chinese junk prolly wont last that long and will probably flicker the PIAA bulbs are awesome they have a huge name for them but if i was you i would just go down to autozone or wherevever and get a set of silverstar ultras. honestly its the first thing i do with all my cars i ever buy upgrade to silver star ultras. they are pretty white. but compared to NOkYA or PIAA not comparable on the white spectrum if you want really white and super bright buy a set of NOkYA since your already getting new plug ins then they wont melt them because there not factory. unless you orederd them from nissan here are your options.

NOkYAs
http://mtqinc.com/nokyausa/headlights/aw2/aw2.php (note nokya harness recommended)

silver stars

PIAA
http://www.amazon.com/PIAA-19616-900...5128195&sr=1-2

good luck man man i know PIAA is one of the top brands out there but silverstars are just down the road

in your case any regular halogen bulbs will have a longer life span than the HID kit you bought.

PIAA is a bit pricey but I love them and is all I have. They never disappoint. They also have alot of different color temps you can go for.

If you are worried about budget go with Sylvania Silver Star Ultras and I repeat ULTRAS, beacause the basic Silver Stars are ok but not the same by any means. I have used them and they were awesome for their price and pretty comparable to certain PIAAs

Life spans vary on Halogen bulbs but you should be fine for a while. at least 12 months

Amazon has a deal for Phillips extreme vision. I've used this bulb before getting obsessed with HID retrofit.

Yup, had tossed in an hid hit in another car. Directly in front had no light but it tossed light in every other direction.

It pisses the sh¡t out of me that hid laws aren't enforced in california.

I'm actually in same boat I was going to get an H.I.D kit but I don't want to deal with the hassle of retro fit or hunting a headlight that had it so I just went with GP Thunder 7500k on the headlights and fog lights GP thunder 8500k and I've been using them for the past few months and there pretty good I had siverstars ultras before but i didnt like the way they shoot out but its was pretty decent
