Oil leak help needed.

It just started today, my car is leaking oil from under the alternator near the ac compressor. Its mostly dripping off the compressor from multiple places and coming together at the bottom of it making a significant size puddle on the ground. In the hour I was home for lunch, it made a baseball size puddle on the ground(width wise) Its an '01 Max with 173K on it, considering the year and mileage I know that alot of the parts are on their way out. Has anyone had experience with this before? I havent driven it any different than any other days either. So Im assuming its just a wear and tear leak from a gasket or seal. Just not sure where. I'll try and take some pictures later on.

Either it's that or the O ring behind the oil cooler.

remember when oil leaks when it is hotwarm ( from a running car) the leak on the ground will appear to be alot more than whats actually leaking.

mine looks like it had some sort of flexible tubing and clamps put on it... and I have a leak in the same basic area... my oil pan is rusted badly also so I'm going to replace that but I'm thinking I should probably replace that rubber tubing also... Anyone know what size tubing to get? Also does it need to be treated or just any tubing will do?

The Oil cooler tubing and hoses contain antifreeze not oil! Your engine needs too be cleaned up and you need to perform a leak check to find the exact oil leak origin!

clean it completely and jack it up and run it for about 30 min until you find the origin....valve cover corner or timing cover access panels!

Agree completely. I just changed my front valve cover because it was leaking, I had oil down the front of the block and the alternator/compressor.
