Code showing Bank 1 Sensor 2?

Whats the Nissan part number for the Bank 1 Sensor 2?
should I use a Simulator?
Best place to get the simulator?
Would the simulator restore my mpg's?

if you have a stock exhaust setup you should just replace the o2 sensor with one made by Bosch the p/n escapes me...check out the stickies it could be in there. if you have headers and such then an O2 sim would be the way to go

Just replaced the same one in december. Went to the dealer to get part, wow expensive $195.83, I'm pretty sure the part # 226a0-4L713. Post what the bosch part cost, I think there's 3 more to go, when one goes the others aren't far behind from what I hear.

I just sold that same OEM new sensor for 70 shipped. Deals are out there, just search a little. Even ebay.

The codes that I have now are P0420 and P0430.
So I guess I'll try to buy the catalytic converter

Have you ever tried resetting the code and see if it comes back? Just a quick and easy thing to try before you spend about 500-600 bucks on 2 cats

I replaced the sensor and I cleared the codes the P1147 and some other codes but light came on showing P420&P430, the P420 didn't show before I replaced the sensor and only showed the P430.

Clear it once more to be sure. I had to replace an O2 sensor and after doing so I got the p0430 code cleared it 2 times and kept coming back so i replace that cat cleared the code and then another code came for another O2 sensor. cleared it and it came back so replaced it reset codes and then the p420 came and I cleared that and it hasn't came back 5k later (knock on wood).

I understand everyones situation is different but it could work for you plus its free vs cost of a cat.

If you going to buy cats for $600 and O2 sensors and all it would just be best to get headers for all the money you going to spend.

Yea I would try to reset the codes. Ive got those codes plenty of time and they have never been caused by a bad 02. New cat too? just because of the rattling or because you think its bad? You can always go pay a quick $20 for emissions and know for sure whether your cat is working or not. Not one of those cheap parts you buy new to eliminate a possible cause

well aftermarket headers would be a component of an aftermarket exhaust system. I think what you mean is should you buy aftermarket precats and be done with this issue OR delete the precats from your exhaust system and get some headers? If you had plans to install a nice exhaust system(headers, y-pipe , ect.) now is the perfect time to do so if its in your budget. If you have no plans of doing this just get some aftermarket precats and your done.
