Gap in hid foglight beam

I noticed that my passenger side beam has a gap right in the middle of it. Is this an aiming issue? If so which direction do I turn the screw or whatever its called to aim up clockwise or counterclockwise? I think it needs to be aimed up but just not sure. I have a pic but photobucket is wierd on my phone I cant figure out how to upload photos.

It sounds like a bulb seating issue.

Check you bulb to see if it's seated properly and peel your splash sheild back.....I modified my Oem Fogs so I could insert my 8mm deep 1/4" drive socket thru the adjustment hole....I'd suggest you turn the adjust screw and watch if the beam goes up or down!!!

First thing that should've been asked, are they oem or aftermarket lamps? I did the same thing CMax03 did, made a little hole to adjust height, I also had to bend my shield foward because of oem philips bulb being way too long..

Nehh, if you look at the beam of the fog, looks like it's pointing directly to the floor.
