Well, I went ahead and contacted the seller, I asked him if there are any numbers or markings on them to try and determine what kind they are. If i get a response, I'd like to get some numbers off some Progress springs (if one of you has them) and we'll see...

Just installed the springs. Got 1.5" drop I front and .5" in rear. Will post picks soon. Not a stiff ride pretty smooth.

Pics look pretty good! Springs have a habit of "settling in," meaning after a couple of weeks they will settle, and the car will drop a little more. If you can measure again after a couple of weeks and let us know if it dropped any further, that would be good info to share.

On another note, you might want to be cautious with them at first, avoid hard cornering or high speeds just to make sure they hold up, would hate to hear of one of them snapping on you.

Any recent update? They've had to settle by now. I recently ordered these ghetto unbranded springs: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-DROP-SPORT...c92fde&vxp=mtr

Figured I would try them out, worst case I'll be out $76 and grab some s-techs. If anyone's interested, I'll post further after install. Can't compare to other springs on Maximas, but have had brand name coilovers and lowering springs on other vehicles.

EDIT: Tokico struts installed 2 months ago (BU2943). Throwing springs straight on them as they are.

Do not forget to cut stock bump stops or you will have Tokrapo's much quicker than you expected...

Was planning on it, thanks. I read that I should trim about 1/4 of an inch... that sound about right?

They have settled in very well, just dropped an extra .25" both front and rear. Still drives smooth, I am a happy camper with these for being on a budget.

Received my eBay lowering springs today. And they are not no-names (but not sure if this is a good or bad thing. DNA Motoring

I might be able to install this weekend. I'll post before and after pics as well as my thoughts (for what they are worth). Only thing I can compare to setups I had on my old CRX. Had Eibach and Tanabe lowering springs on that before a set of Skunk2 coilovers.

Alright, finished up earlier. Didn't get a shot of an un-compressed rear spring next to a stock, but they were the same height. My gravel driveway far from level, but you get the point.

Front springs:

Ride quality is pretty decent too. I expected them to be stiffer than what they were, but you get what you pay for. Didn't bottom out going over the railroad tracks near my house or pulling into my driveway (or the gravel pothole nightmare as I like to call it). For $76 bucks on eBay, these lowering springs are much better than what I thought they would be. Funny thing is, when I went to the DNA Motoring website, they do not list springs for the 5.5 Maxima. Hmm...

Looks good, I'm surprised how decent these cheap springs ride for the price.

Looks good! Mine seem to be settling a bit too. Ride has been a bit bumpier and it seems a bit lower. As far as they are long term? Time will tell. I think I may go coilovers when I have the cash though.

Well i am pretty happy with the looks and the price that i got them for.. Coilovers were out of the question for me, highschool. The ride feels the same the only apparent difference is that i seem to be able tp take corners faster now, but it may just be on my head lol . But for $75 they are greatt!!!!

+1 for the price vs. quality. Can't afford coilovers now myself. Will get them when the struts start to go. I ran lowering springs and coilovers on previous cars and coilovers are definitely the way to go.
