Big THANK YOU to Maxima.org

I am fairly new to Maxima org, but I owe a big thank you to all of you, I bought a 2000 Maxima manual transmission and you have helped me tremendously. Tonight I did the Relearn for the IACV and it fixed my car, before I joined you all saved me lots of money, because you all pinpointed and told me how to fix the High pressure power steering hose, a rear wheel bearing, an Ignition coil, I really owe you all a big thanks, unfortunately my 16 year old daughter just got her liscense and she then had to learn to drive a manual transmission and the clutch went out on the car and I had to have that replaced. When I got it back it had a high idle and I finally got to try the Relearn process this evening and it is working now.

Anyway THANKS big time to you guys at Maxima Org, maybe someday I will be able to contribute something back

It's always nice to hear positive things. Good luck with teaching your daughter how to drive a manual, hopefully she can learn and get the hang of it!

I'm sure I didn't help much at all, but it's definitely good to hear so much positive. This is a great place for all the Maxima knowledge a guy (or gal) could need.

It sure is hard to get that burnt clutch smell out of the car!! LOL Actually when the mechanic fixed the clutch the pressure plate came a part in 3 places so i really don't think it was related to her riding the clutch, but i don't need to let her know that!!

Yeah, if you step over and around all the BS, there's lots of good info here...

But seriously, it is a good site, that's why there are so many of us that don't have Maximas any longer who are still here...
