I am fairly new to Maxima org, but I owe a big thank you to all of you, I bought a 2000 Maxima manual transmission and you have helped me tremendously. Tonight I did the Relearn for the IACV and it fixed my car, before I joined you all saved me lots of money, because you all pinpointed and told me how to fix the High pressure power steering hose, a rear wheel bearing, an Ignition coil, I really owe you all a big thanks, unfortunately my 16 year old daughter just got her liscense and she then had to learn to drive a manual transmission and the clutch went out on the car and I had to have that replaced. When I got it back it had a high idle and I finally got to try the Relearn process this evening and it is working now.

Anyway THANKS big time to you guys at Maxima Org, maybe someday I will be able to contribute something back

I'm sure I didn't help much at all, but it's definitely good to hear so much positive. This is a great place for all the Maxima knowledge a guy (or gal) could need.

I smell burnt clutch!

It sure is hard to get that burnt clutch smell out of the car!! LOL Actually when the mechanic fixed the clutch the pressure plate came a part in 3 places so i really don't think it was related to her riding the clutch, but i don't need to let her know that!!
