My DIY mirror signals and puddle lights

So this weekend I went ahead and put in some better mirror signals and added some puddle lights on my mirrors. The Advance Auto Parts near me had some prewired LEDs that just tap into a 12v source. So I picked up 3 packs and put them in this weekend. I am happy with the overall result. But I want to know what you guys think. Here are some pics.

The prewired LEDs.

Install could be a little cleaner but not bad I guess.

Yea maybe a little cleaner but given that I don't have a whole lot of talent on that subject and that I took me about 1 hour for everything, I thinks I'm happy with them.

Its a good effort but those leds kinda suck.
The first time is always not the best.

The leds you find in the automotive store are of poor quality.
Next time try places like cleds.com , oznium.com, and there's a whole
bunch of other, cheaper, higher quality led distributors.

A good source for information and ideas in the lighting area is hidplanet.com

Yea, I was about to get some online, but I wanted to do it last weekend so I just went ahead and got them from the store. I have some night time pics I will put up.
