Is the tube supposed to be connected to something?
Folks:

Check out this photo (see red squares). That tube, near the transmission dip stick, isn't connected to anything. Is that normal?

I have seen people plugged it up with a bolt, thinking it's a vacuum hose.

Don't plug it. If you wish, you can put a little breather filter on it.
