Quote: Challenger VS. G8... don't really want either, but respect aspects of both cars. Between the two, I'd advise the G8. It's more unique, and I think just a little bit smaller, although not much if at all.
it was a Charger vs a G8

Quote: I have to respectfully disagree. A mazda MX-5 (miata) is through and through a chick car, but they can be beasts, fast, a bloody riot, and are all around a super capable car.

This applies to many, many cars. Another is a Porche Boxster.

All with great potential/power/handling, etc, but all through and through, chick cars. Nothing can be done to change that outside of outlandish body work.

Which is what I'd do to a miata
yup lol... its beyond the "performance and engine" its just all in all girly lol

Right, Charger. I misspoke.

Challenger is way too cool for that comparison. Oddly enough, it's interior is even more hideous. But still cool car.

Maybe you should set your sights a little lower and consider the new Scion FR-S when you land yourself a job? I know you're more into looks, but that's supposed to be a serious driver's car. I'm looking forward to a test-drive. Are they even at the dealerships yet?

What the heck are you talking about? Just making small talk and trying to use little words like you've been asking me to.

Wait, did you just say "observative"?

Quote: So right now, is it as I described where the mount sits too high for it to bolt up to the tranny? Or are the mounting points completely off?

I would recommend buying a mount from the auto parts store just to see if it fits better. If not just return it. I think you're experiencing the same thing I did. That whole sentra/maxima hybrid tranny concept doesn't make sense because the sentra 6MT won't work with the 5MT bell housing.
No the sentra 5spd.

anyway the trans will not fit period so i put my old one back on this evening and was cussing the whole way through

Quote: LOL, you fainted. That works for you, eh hustler?

There are all kinds of cars at my office park. My employer's 550i 6MT, my co-workers SLK55 AMG, my G37S 6MT, this Audi S4, a new Challenger SRT8, a couple of C6's (one convertible), a beautiful white Infiniti M56, a couple of vintage Jaguars, a drop-dead gorgeous black on black 740i, about two dozen various 3- and 5-series BMW's, and on and on.

Most of these cars park on the periphery of the lot, like I do, and there's an unspoken respect about parking next to one another that you don't get if you park closer to the buildings.

Sometimes I like to take a break and just walk around. It's nice.
Please explain to me what I need to do to get a job at your company so I can bring in a salary that will allow me to join the ballin' cars club of your office's parking lot.

Added 3-4 degrees globally by removing 4-6% fuel. 2-3 degrees more and I'm back to normal. VE seems to go up too, g/s.

Considering those types of cars have immobilizers, it would be interesting to see one get stolen with a coat hanger and a screwdriver.

You'd be surprised what I can do with limited resources - I once made a hat from a lobster and a stick!

All kidding aside, I don't steal cars. And I sure wouldn't look at a high-end car if I did do anything like that. I do my best to fly under the radar - don't need any more attention from the State ><

There are plenty out here the older ones, but all the 3.5 ones on 22s and 24s, only a couple of them have the Hemi R/T model and highly ever see the SRT-8....

Homemade BLT with peppered bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, spring mix lettuce and roma tomatoes on toasted potato bread with olive oil mayo, and some nice Kosher Dills on the side.

The chassis of the new one is a huge improvement over the older model. Same with the Chrysler 300's. You can't even compare a new 300 to the older one.

Trust me, the Boxster is by far not the worst car Porsche has produced. And the Boxtser has evolved tremendously since it's introduction as well.

One of the top gear guys said that the only reason to buy one is if you HAD to have a Porsche but you can't afford a 911. Lol.

ok I will retract my EVER statement but it makes the top 3 and its the model that strayed as far from what Porsche stands for as any other maybe besides the sportomatic which didnt even break the 10sec 0-60

I dont consider it a Porsche and when I see guys driving it around you know they think they are hot **** and I know my car wont give it a run but it still is nothing to be proud of unless you are 16 and your daddy bought it for you.

The Boxster's design inspiration was that of the 550 Spyder with it's 2 seat mid engine roadster design. There was even a limited edition 550 Spyder Boxster where 550 were produced.

I thought it was the Panamera you didn't like?

As far as the Cayman goes, I really like the Cayman S with the DFI engine. I drove one with the PDK double clutch transmission with the Sport Chrono package which included the upgraded suspension and 19" wheels. It was a beast of a little car.
