Otherwise you're going to have to go out and measure your spring outside/inside diameter and match it up. Just get the ones for the top, the bottom already has them (he bewtter not have thrown those out!! Bottom is very important!!

I see them now, my thoughts on a solid ring are that I have to remove the entire coilover to put them on. I'm going to go the route tuner did and just get a rubber isolator and cut it, fit it in and put some grease. If it turns out that this works I'll order some legit ones and do it right but I don't want to do the work for no reason.

$320 shipped for the headers, roughly $700 minimum install.

It would cost me $500-$600 and like 3-4 days to drive to maxus. I'd be better off paying to have it done here. I appreciate the offer and if you were closer i'd take you up on it in a heartbeat

merovi, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with your suspension. From what I've read here, tuner gave you these rubber plates that he put in the springs of the CO's, but Motor Metrics didn't use them in the install, and now you're thinking that's why your car goes "bang!" in the dips... which is all because you've got the CO's lowered to the point you do.

Is that about right?

It's entirely possible (likely) that I'm misinterpreting things here. But what the heck, Ryan... just raise the car a quarter inch at a time until the problem goes away. That's a lot easier, less expensive, and likely safer than the alternative.

I like my height. It's not that the car is unsafe, it just makes a noise in certain circumstantial situations. I can completely avoid the noise or I can make it happen.

Motor Metrics didn't put in the home made isolators because he said they didn't come with the kit and he wanted to do a clean install. So now because of the height that it is lowered the spring just isn't as compressed as if it was higher. Not any less safe, just different. I'm going to put in isolators and take it from there. And the isolators cost maybe a few bucks each.

Engine Oil Bypass Kit

$93.60

Modern synthetic oil is very expensive - so why run the risk of getting it dirty by running it through your motor block? KaleCoAuto bypass kit comes with everything you need to run the oil around your motor block where it will do more good. Oil runs cooler, and as a result, there may be horsepower gains!

Ok now first of all i only offered this as an alternative to what people have been buying currently and as for the price it is what i would pay if i outright purchase 10 sets of the same part number as a dealer which i have already have had my paperwork processed. Now as far as all the nay sayers at no time did i hype these up or put praise upon them all i can say truthfully is i have been to their LOCAL to me distribution house where they actually process the final product and i will explain how it works for coilover distributors.1 they receive blank bodies in from the manufacturing plant 2.they take the orders and and weld the mounting plates on them according to the application requested 3.they then charge and assemble the coilover with the required springs, mounts and hardware.now like i said before these look to be the same construction as my BC's and btw they informed me that 95% of the coilovers are processed this way to reduce overhead of product.so like i said if you want them I'm willing to work with it but if not you don't have to bash the product because it is obvious that no one here has ever had a set to pass judgment on them.besides what other coilover manufacturer do you know that will let you completely customize your set? different valving, spring rates and the availability of rear pillowball with camber adjustments and if i so choose i could even have them made in custom colors not just the Yellow,Orange and Blue.So its your choice about this product and like always there are going to be some a55holes who talk crap because they know no better but hey how many vendors on here will offer you some form of REAL pricing break on a product?better yet How many companies produce performance products for our cars?
wont be paypal will be a check put in an escrow account with a signed contract for payment because i'm only requiring 25% down until i have them in my hands and this is only if i dont have my site by then if i got it up and running you'll be able to pay thru it.and you wont be paying anything until i have paid for all 10 units out of my pocket and i get a completed invoice from xyz showing i paid in full.im doing things like this cause i got burned on 5 Megan racing exhaust i got for people and then they all backed down after i recieved the units now im stuck with them.so contract for payment YES! Paypal NO!
you read this NmexMax?

merovi i do believe them teins did come with isolaters and such when they were new and i believe when Tuner got them they were missing thats why he improvised and made some.i think its a good ideal to get them back on there properly tho

The bottom line is that noise is not normal. It is a sign that a system on the car is not performing as it should. By definition, it is unsafe. If I can make my broken hub not fall off by avoiding left turns, I have not proven safety. I have only made an unsafe situation, safer. I understand you may feel like people are responding dramatically (Heaven forbid you raise it a bit for diagnostic purposes like John said ). However, sometimes you only get one chance to find out a car is unsafe. That usually doesn't turn out well. I'm interested to see how the isolators work out. Perhaps, it is just the lack of required friction by the metal to metal contact allowing the spring to move excessively.

Well what I'm saying if I could get them coilovers at the price he was talking about... I'm not going to drop 500 and some change on koni... I'll just wait it out... then I'll put them groundcontrols up for sale after I get coilovers..
