5th gen Off Topic Thread (Official Ghustle thread v1)

That's all intergrated into the engine room harness. That's why I say it would be a lot more easy/practical to swap all of this too. It will be plug and play and all will function like it's supposed to.
You can keep your 4th gen bcm. A few connectors will have to be spliced in but it's a lot more simple than re wiring whats under the dash.

It has the fuse box attached to it, amirite?
Ah good good. Ok.
So my 3.5 plans change yet again

Or ditch the stock ecu and have the car run on the haltech. lol
The way I did it is because i had a complete 5.5 gen maxima for parts. So instead of me cutting wires and stuff, I just swapped over the engine harness, the engine bay harness, and under the dashboard harness. That way I was able to plug in the 5.5 cluster and the nats system. The car fired right up.

They're not even on the car yet
My buddy owed me a favor so he tried to mount on and scratched it, then failed to mount the tire.
Let's just say, he'll be buying me a new one and having them mounted at a shop.

Headers wouldn't make enough difference on that car hp wise to justify the cost man. Your pre cats are gutted and theres no restriction at all besides the mani's themselves. Wasteofmoney

Wait, so that $220 quote was for the engine control harness? Or the engine room harness with the fuse boxes and ****? lol. My daughter is trying to sleep so I can't talk.... fatherhood. lol

I figured as much but I needed to hear it. This is pushing me to just get an safc/vafc and at least make some adjustments to get some more gains from what I already have. It's just lack of knowledge that stops me from getting into something new right now. and I'll need to get a WB welded in and have the wires run into the cabin and setup the equipment somewhere and make adjustments on the fly.

Night and day difference man.
Night and f'ng day.
I talked it out more, looks like I'm splitting up the dash harness.
And my A/C will be left up to our lord and savoir, I have no idea how the compressor will work now
#912
lol. good luck. Let me know how much an engine room harness is when you go to work tomorrow. If it's not to expensive, I'll get one to contribute to your commission. lol

It's gonna be like 140 shipped they're cheap and dont sell on the older vehicles.
Now if you wanted an 07 alti front chassis harness... good lord... good luck mang.
