Rochester...will these washers work?
Rubber (neoprene) backed, stainless steel:
I'm worries about the slight taper at the top...
And the M6 bolts...lowes must suck (or I suck at looking) since I can't find anything in 20mm length.
found a Fastenal store near my house, so I'm gonna stop by there tomorrow or Friday and see what they've got.

Aww man im pissed... Only 1 puppy left... The white one... I don't want a light fur German shepherd to be honest... I want the brown n black fur German shepherd because that light fur one is probebly gonna look more like a lab
On that note, I saw an Aspen White 91 Galant VR-4 Limited today. Guy said it was #1700-something. Looked almost pristine and very much like an Evo III (except not an Evo III). Still, very rare to see one on the road still! Used to have a Kensington Grey 92 VR-4. When I bought it, someone had pulled the number off it and there is absolutely no way to tell based on the VIN. Loved that car, but she was a project! Always working on the damn thing!

You should look at the rescues. Save a dog's life, save money, and find the right canine buddy. You'll thank me down the road. Here comes the plane... http://www.magsr.org/
Yea, I'm not gonna get n akita... But i was really looking forward to the shepherd.... Granted its mixed...

Those washers are actually pretty cool. Use some metal polish on the SS side. Here's a trick: dap the polish on a rag, then grip the washer with your nails and rub it into the rag, instead of the other way around. Then buff to a shine. They'll look great. (Use this same approach when polishing the heads of bolts, which actually works better because you can really grip the bolt shank and go hard against the polish.)
The rubber side will be fine, but if you over-torque them they'll crush and squeeze out the sides.
Here's another tip when polishing metal... or when working under the hood at all, for that matter: wear surgical gloves. You can get a 50ct box at the drug store for under $10.
I used those washers in my Max, in a variety of places. Here's a pic. Perfect use for the plastic MAF housing against the SRI adapter plate. Perfect fitment, too, if I say so myself.

That's riiiiiiiight.
Fastenal is a great resource. If they don't have what you need, they will order it. And they can order virtually anything.

Hustler, rescue your new pet if you can. But if you can't find the dog you're looking for, there's no shame in going to a breeder... because you're looking for a very particular dog.
I've always rescued my pets, just as my parents did. But a few years ago we were looking for a new cat, and I was very serious about getting a Russian Blue.
No regrets.
Not my cat here, but she looks exactly like this. Beautiful, smart creature.

If you don't know where to start, your best route is to go to a few of your local veterinarians and seek advice.
I have... thats the reason i asked... i would simply put it like this to others... unless you have a single family home or bigger, just go find a breeder and get the dog you want.... anybody in a town house or smaller, you will have a bad taste on how they go about saving a dog... never again for me... i did go there to get a puppy cane corso earlier this year, they simply will tell you no and they will appoint a dog of their choice to you...
people always say go the shelter route instead of buying because they are almost on a PETA trip. i dont knock it, but i'm not going to bend over backwards to go get a dog from a shelter because someone else is tripping/mad because dogs are being purchased.
their process to finding the correct owners is based on ur house size... because the reason the dogs are in the shelter because its the smaller homes kicking them out n mis treating them ... so if a full blown criminal and one of mike vick's boys went up to the shelter then because they own a bigger home then thats the best owner for the dog... its dumb bro....
I plan on using 'em in the engine bay, where the M6 bolts go. Replace the bolts and throw these type things on 'em...not sure yet if I'm gonna paint the washers BT4 or polish 'em up (Thanks Roch for the tips on that)...will try each and figure which looks better.
Basically replacing what's currently there with these (and those type washers with the rubber backing):

However, I have run into a few crazies and arrogant jerks over the years, too. There is no blueprint on the right thing to do or the people you're dealing with. Like I said, generally they're very caring, decent people.
Good luck, and please try harder with the rescue approach.
Either way, as long as you take responsible care of your pet, it's all good.
