LOL.....everyone was like 100lbs more than what they looked like 30 years ago huh? Way to represent for the Nissan/Infiniti group!!! It has only been 15 years since I graduated high school and I notice that ALOT of my classmates on my facebook page have ummm....."changed" to keep it nice. LOL!

I think we all like to go to the High school reunion and show off a little bit. Roll up with the FYNE azz wife and bad car with kids going to HARVARD and MIT....LOL. Especially like to see that chick that you had a crush on in high school that would not give you the time of day back then and you see her 30 years later with 8 kids by 8 different baby daddies and 200lbs bigger. LOL! Somehow I think it doesnt all go like that , but we'd like to think of it that way....LOL.

No, no... stud parking is when you park kitty-corner in a spot, or when you rudely take two spots to park. I haven't done that since I was Waxima's age. Parking safely away from all the other cars isn't stud parking, it's just smart.

And good exercise.

Hadn't heard the term "stud-parking" before. Makes sense thinking about it. Always hated it when people take 2 spots because of that 97 Jag XJ they think is awesome...lol!

It's hilarious when there's a civic double parking, and the next spot over is an M5 pared properly.

Very nice, man.

I like most everything you've done here. The floormats and MAXIMA emblem on the dashboard... not so much. What's that silver trim piece above the glovebox? From the angle of this photo, I LIKE THAT A LOT. Very interesting. (Although not the vent trim. Ug. Not everything needs to be "outlined", LOL.)

Man, you've really gone into this hobby in a big way. This kind of momentum usually comes to a bittersweet end, where people suddenly turn away from the car, sell it and move all their energies into a new project. Good luck.

ranmas2004, it would be cool to meet up with you and CJ somewhere in the middle... Binghamton, NY maybe. Bring your modded Max, I'd bring my G, and CJ could take a road trip in his GTR.

Just thinking out loud. Of course, I'd have the slowest car, but that's fine.

BTW - anyone notice in the movie I Am Legend that Will Smith survived on his own for years in the midst of a zombie plague. Then a woman shows up and he's dead within 24 hours.

AND she ate his bacon >:/

I'd say don't put anything there. It's bad enough you NY people have to put tags on the front of your cars.

Start with nothing but plate. If that's unsatisfying, then start researching for a good plate frame. Keep in mind, NY doesn't allow you to put a plastic cover over your plate, so it has to be frame-only.

I'm using the Cruiser Plate Frame, with VMS fender washers in gunmetal gray, and SS countersunks. With your white car, I recommend either chrome or black. I've got chrome in the front, and black in the back.

Plastic dealership plate frames is a lame advertisement. But more than that, it tells the world that you're just not smart enough to notice the lameness or recognize the tacky.

you and license plate frames, Rochester. I tell ya.....

Although, I've got a new plate frame in the rear because of you when I posted my new exhaust tip pictures.

Now just to add the right hardware to make it look better...

In the theme of things that you can't un-see once you start paying attention to it, this is a fine and easily resolved example.

I'm on a crusade. You've been converted.

My PC is dead. Goodbye Windows XP.

I have an old image of Windows Vista I thought to start using, but it is so buggy and prone to failure, that it became a no-go after working with it for a day. So I installed Windows 7 Ultimate into a new drive, only to realize my hardware is woefully outdated, and can barely limp along. Since it was already max'd out with upgrades over the years, I was left with one option.

New DELL showing up in a few weeks. Quad-core I7 with 16 gig RAM. This should work just fine, after getting all the software I need loaded up. It's been a long, frustrating weekend of computer fail.

I'm sure CJ is chuckling at these specs as child's play. LOL

glad it's on its way to being all figured out, Rochester. 16 gigs of ram? nice That should last you awhile.

Why did you choose desktop over laptop?

Wifey has a laptop. Daughter has a desktop. Mine has always been a server-chassis that I've been building machines into for years. In fact, this is the very first computer I've purchased in full since 1991. I've only ever built my machines in the last 20 years.

Except now I don't care anymore. I just want it to function so I can work at home. I don't play games on the PC anymore.

To answer your question directly: a laptop of equal performance would be much more money. I'm cheap in some ways...

...although I did order another 24" widescreen, so that now I'll have two of them side-by-side, which is kind of an indulgence, but I can rationalize.

Quad core i7 and 16g's of ram is very respectable. It's not like you are building a server and need more.

My humble MacBook (non-Pro) I bought in the spring of 2010 was a late produced 2009 model. It has a Core Duo 2.4GHz processor and 2 gigs of DDR3 ram (2x1g chips) and an Nvidea GeForce 9400M graphics card. With the graphics today being more in depth and HQ and HD becoming more common, it tends to slow down a bit when I have multiple tabs open. I know it's time to add more memory, but I just haven't got around to it yet. Apparently my computer will support up to 8 gigs of memory, but idk if i'll run into any issues with the computer with it running the maximum amount of Ram.

The silver trim piece aboe the glove compartment is part of the brushed aluminum dash kit.

Im not EVER going to sell this car, too much sentimental value in it now....
