I've adopted a pet and rescued two others. Do they make you jump through hoops? Sure. Obviously, they are concerned about the future welfare of the animal. They aren't going to hand it over to you like a kid's meal at the local fast food joint. My belief is that if you can't handle the accountability/duties of an adoption, you probably aren't ready to own an animal. Bluntly. Legit, certified breeders are this way as well. Be suspicious of any breeder that only cares about getting your check. It's a hint as to how much they actually care about the animal.

Are you going to a shelter or a rescue or the humane society? HUGE difference. Want the good people? Rescue or humane society. I love animals and I wouldn't give you a Cane either if you lived in a place without a decent yard. It's not some judgement on you, it's a decision that is best for the dog.

My wife really wanted a Weimaraner a few years back. We were both working full time. Those dogs are crazy intelligent, but get crazy destructive if they are not properly exercised and interacted with. I'm talking almost 24/7. The breeder warned us that we would have to make massive lifestyle changes for the behavior health of the dog. We opted to wait rather than make a decision we would later regret.

Internet couch: It appears there is a little bit of a pattern from the multitude of posts by you on this forum. You like to paint yourself as a victim. I'm sure it's just an internet guise, but on the off chance that it happens in the real world I'm going to caution you against it. Be strong. Take criticism with a bit of patience. The 'man' (or anyone else) isn't constantly trying to bring you down. It's life. We all have adversity. If you get caught up in the Eeyore syndrome, you're going to live a very bitter outlook. We love you, man.

im not in a house but i have plenty of yard where dogs play here, i can take a pic later when the neighbors dog go out to play... im not painting myself a victim... im sharing my experience... lemme ask you something...

why wouldnt you "nelledge" buy the cheapest brake pad made for ur car???... or why would you not recommend a certain resturant to your friends???... i appreciate the help i do... but like they say u cant please everybody in life, im not saying its an entirely bad place to go to in considering getting a dog... but for me, if somebody was to come to me and ask me where should i get a dog from, what would you expect me to reply?? my experience right???...

You just did what i am saying... the shelter/rescue/humane or where the **** ever had the dog did. without any good evaluation you "Wouldnt give me a cane corso neither because * lists a random reason in which you made a blunt assumption*". you didnt ask or find out any info just now, you just simply said "hey you dont look like you have a yard for a cane corso so you cant get one"... why not take a better approach??? lemme ask you this brother, if i then had a yard would that make me a "suitable owner"??? what if i dog fight in my yard???.... some suitable owner you came by

Are you comparing the selection of brake pads to owning a dog? I hope not.

Not the first to notice that. Won't be the last, either.

In his defense, the kid is struggling to get by in life, and that's just one of his coping mechanisms. We all have them. In his case, it's not so bad as to be hopelessly annoying. And he's funny sometimes, so he gets a pass.

But yeah... it's noticeable.

Ahhhh. Associate's in Engineering? That will open up some doors for you. I'd be glad to help if you ever need it. I know it's no surprise, but I have plenty of advice.

Advice / thoughts / opinions welcome:

Got one of these ^^ coming as a spare, I want to throw some paint on it. I'm currently thinking polish the whole thing, then apply BT4 to the area that is currently black, as well as the NISSAN above that.

I also thought about spraying EVERYTHING silver and painting all the lettering body color but don't like that as much.

Fire away, what do y'all think? I currently have BT4 spray can and paint pen, as well as clear coat in both spray can and paint pen.

I do NOT want to do anything like powdercoating or w/e...$$ is not on my side.
