No before pics on the car, I ordered them from Maxima_Joe and just put them on today after the plasti-dip. But I do have pics of the guards themselves...

Can't wait until my BT4 rattlecan arrives, it looks good now but will look much better body-colored!

Stuck on header install..... Removed 11 of 12 bolts n having the biggest pain on removing the last bolt...... Hands down ready to call it quits n just say **** maximas all together...... With installing headers everything that can go wrong...... Will go wrong....


On another note... Can anybody find a write up on how to remove the UIM on the DEK... lots of VI threads out there n how to install it on the 4th gen.... None of how to just remove it from the 00-01..... Can anybody provide working links on that

 

I wouldn't put headers on a transverse engine in a fwd car unless the engine was out of the car and on a stand.

 

BTW; Did you check/fix the VIAS yet?

 

No. I've been doing other maintenance and repairs on the car. The last couple of times I tried to get to checking it, the weather hasn't cooperated, and I'll get to it eventually.

 

Bahahaha...you think doing headers on a Maxima is bad? Try an LS-1 Camaro...

 

I have heard that's a royal pain in the ****. I did headers on my Legacy GT and it was relatively simple. Only had to unbolt one engine mount and jack the engine up a few inches to get the uppipe past the frame rail to the turbo.

 

Or the car you actually own right now.
