Ok guys, tell me if I'm crazy or not, I'm seriously considering a set of BBS LM replicas for my temporary set of wheels. I know this is completely out of character for me, and I didnt want another set with a billion and 1 spokes, but the design is really catching my eye. I can get a set brand new for about $750. 18x9.5 all the way around in whatever offset I desire. Probablly +30 up front and +20 in the back. Wont be flush like I am now, but I'm not trying to do that with these. Just something to hold me over till I get a real set of what I want.

 

If you do get them, don't use BBS center caps. No one like's a poser.

 

I wouldn't. I wouldn't even claim that they are real either. I'd probably find a way to fit some nissan/infiniti/blank center caps on them or roll with none at all. Hell, I still have the carbon fibre center caps for my tenzos sitting in my drawer as we speak. But they dont fit without a spacer because of how far our axles poke with the concaveness of the wheels in the front. and that cap for the hub for the rear. They look like carbon fiber muffins anyways.

On another note...I filled up in Seattle and made it to my destination...466 miles, on ONE TANK of gas. Just filled up, with 15.75 gallons, which gives me 29.58 mpg!

Average speed 72mph

A/C blowing hard and tunes blasting the entire way down...

Flirting with 30mpg, I'm impressed! First full-highway tank in the 7 months I've had her...

 

 

Maxima's are damn fine road trip cars, On a recent jaunt Vancouver-Calgary to visit my sister i averaged 28.6MPG at 140-145KMH (~85-90 MPH)
