He's right about the banning. Your were on a closed course or track right.... Given what you went up against, you might have a shot at the Camaro, but no hope against the Z, although even the V6 Camaro has over 300 HP now.

Even though the new Camaro has a little over 300 hp, its still a fat pig weighing in at 3750lbs.

But out here they would of charged like a 100 bucks to mount and balance or more and I wouldnt get the free balance and rotations, every 6,000 miles, so thats going to save me 120 or 160 easy, depending on how long the tires last...

I picked up a pair of Barum Bravuris 2's from Discount Tire, and they are priced really good. The company is owned and operated by Continental, and they're really popular over in Europe. They're just now starting to catch on here.

If you want to save some money, look for the 235's used. They are the same size used on the fronts on Porsche's sports cars, and the 235-40-18's around here are easy to find.

True. Not a bad deal. I mounted mine but still have to balance.

I like them. They're smooth and quiet, and for the money, they're good performance tires. IMO, if you want a better performance tire with a noticeable performance difference, the price would have to go up quite a bit. But for a daily driven 12 year old Maxima, they work just fine.

If Clashez posts up information that he is for sure going to Maxus. IE booked plane ticket and hotel reservations I will have my car ready by Maxus and shipped over there just to beat the breaks off his 5th gen in my '96. Best time in a maxima my ***. Better actually invest in those mods you speak of if you want to run em. STILL NO KINETIX PICTURES!!??

I really cant say anything bad about them. They certainly aren't cheap but your paying for convenience. They are a far better deal than Butler tire is. I got sucked into them with the tires on the TSW's. Now at Butler you can overpay considerably for a tire if you are not careful. Not so with Discount. Very fair prices and they have specials all the time
