I did swap over the entire body harness in the bay. But you might not have to since you have a 5th gen. Check the fsm.

Not sure if this is the new "general chat" page so to speak, but I've been out for a while (Disneyland) and got back to a project: Finding a new car for my inlaws, since a van wrecked their Lexus. Anywhoo, showed them a 2005 Brilliant Silver G35 with Premium Package C and Nav and they bought it on the spot. What a gorgeous car! 67K for 13.5K

I've gotta stop rushing to get this swap done. I'm spending more than I'm making right about now. I think I'm going to sit on what I have for a month or 2 to build back up a good financial cushion to work with.

If it hasn't run in 8 years, it's gonna need a complete fuel system flush, since gasoline that old would have turned into varnish by now. I'd also drop the gas tank and check the inside of it for rust. Old gas tanks are notorious for rusting out.

Baby supra wheels on that gt or youll look a fool 13" wheels only also if its the orig 4a motor dont try to start it without changing the timing belt first its dry rotted by now and youll kill the motor if it pops

I had them on my 81 Toyota 1.8 polished .. they are hard to find...

I had no idea the new ones were capable of 10s stock. If there's anyone who still thinks the LFA, zr1, new NSX, etc. is more impressive than this, you're a certified hater.
PS: Not saying the other cars arent impressive. But nissan straight up owned everyone in the performance per dollar category.

Besides flushing out the entire fuel system and also checking the inside of the tank for rust, other fuel lines will probably need replacing due to dry rot. Also the entire brake system will need a complete flush and new hoses put on as well. And the pads/drums/rotors will need replacing as well since they'll all be rusted up and useless. I wouldn't doubt it if you have calipers and/or wheel cylinders that are frozen up too. Rebuild those or replace them. I wouldn't cut any corners at all with the brakes.
