Uncomfortable seats? I am alone?
I have noticed that every trip I take with my family in the 5th gen after 3 hours of driving my wife and I look at each other and just shake our heads. My *** gets numb. Has anybody noticed this? I am just getting old? I swear I'm about to take the seats out of my 7th gen to see if they fit. I drove 12 hours in those seats and felt fine.

Leather. I am thinking on renting a car now to drive to GA this summer. I can't imagine sitting in these seats for 12 hours. WTF! I'm getting old I guess. I start shifting from cheek to cheek it crazy.

Why wouldn't you just drive the 7th gen on longer trips then, I don't get it? 12 hours in any car can be uncomfortable but the shorter trips you are describing I have never felt uncomfortable in mine

mine is uncomfortable, but then i just take my wallet out and my butt is fine. Now if I had more leg room then i would be just peachy but finding a car where i can stretch my legs is hard as I am 6'4"

I'll be turning in the 7th gen next year. I have plenty of miles to give but I really HATE buying tires to give a car back. I took the 7th gen over the holidays and your right my bum did feel better but I get better mileage from my 5th gen and Premium at 4 bucks + a gallon, every bit helps.

I had my 5th gen for almost 10 years, and never had an issue with seat comfort, even on long 6 hour drives.

Its very possible you have underlying back issues. I never get achy in my 4th gen seats or my dads 5th gen seats on long trips. Of course after a few hours you need to stretch but I feel they are fairly comfortable. Are you the original owner? Perhaps Jared from subway owned you car before he started in on sammiches and ruined your foam lol

In my old car I bought a massage thing with lumbar and more padding in the seat and it helped a LOT. Specially the lumbar, might see if something like that would help you ? I find the seats in the 5th gen comfortable and I am 6'2 and a fat bastard.

Leather seats here. I can drive for hours with this seats but only if...
AznRyan say it!
If you drive for hourst with your wallet in your rear pocket, prepare for an *** burn. It happened to me only once, now my wallet got a special place in the dash for that long trips

Not sure how much different it would be, but I think my I30's seats are pretty comfortable. ConsumerGuide even had seat comfort as a plus for the car. Only car that's seat are more comfortable, that I can think of, is my friend's Volvo V70 XC.

rubber band around the wallet is a good anti-pickpocket technique. It causes friction and drag between the rubber and the pocket, so you feel your pants tugging if your wallet is moved. I don't carry much cash on me anyways. I leave that ish in the bank, so if it's stolen, it's insured.

I've read before about the wallet so it goes in the side door pocket as soon as I get in the car. I think it may be my back. I did service when I was young for 10 years and driving 60,000 miles a year in South Florida I have gotten plowed by idiot drivers (and an Ambulance that flew thru a red light and t-boned the hell out of me) so maybe my back has paid its toll. I'll will look into the back things to cover the seats. I tried moving the lumbar thing around and that never helped.

My 03 Altimas seats suck on any drive longer than 2 hours. Heated/leather btw. I drove to Virginia about three weeks ago and my *** was killing me lol. I had to put my jacket and some cloths I use for cleaning on the *** section of the seat.
