2002 maxima Bose display

Greetings, just bought a 2002 maxima and I noticed on the Bose display when a song comes on it will display one word on the screen for the entire song. For example if "We are young by fun" is playing the display will read "young" for the entire song. I wanted to know if this is normal or should the display be doing a rotation of other words in the song title. Thanks in advance

Are you talking about when playing the radio? Mine has always been hit and miss. Sometimes it will only show artist or part on the song name.

Yes this is exactly what I am talking about. When playing the radio my bose display does exactly what you just described. since the same occurs with you seems to me its normal. thank you for your response.

Yeah, it's not usually the most "reliable" display. I found that it would keep the same first song on the display well into next songs, on the radio.....
