Loose sidemarkers

Just installed my aftermarket sidemarkers and they are wobbly/loose, kinda frustrating. did anyone else have this problem?.. Is there a way to tighten them like the OEM ones?

Also hurt the paint a little bit in the corners ....how can I hide that

Fronts or rears? My guess is the fronts, in which case you should know the fronts are specifically designed for one side or the other. Left-side marker, and right-side marker.

Rears! haha 50/50. Fronts were no problem, just wobbly and loose back ones. It's not a problem, I would just like to fix them tight like stock

In that case, I have no advice. When I replaced mine, I used DEPO lenses, and they clipped in nice and firm. So IDK what to tell you.

Has your car been in an accident? My clear side markers used to fit just fine, but then I got rear ended and the insurance company gave me a non-Nissan replacement bumper. Now one sidemarker fits extremely tight while the other is a tad loose. Not much to do about it except wedge some foam or something to keep it from moving around.

As far as your paint scratches, go to your local Nissan dealer and get a bottle of touch up paint matched to the color code of your car for about $15-$20. It's a bit expensive but it will come in handy for other things down the road.

The stock ones fit fine. Nice and tight. So I don't think it's the bumber, good suggestion though. And thank you for The paint advice I'll do that asap

That fitment isn't right at all. Weird. Also, you got the clear lenses, whereas I was using the smoked ones... not that it should matter. I would contact the seller or DEPO directly and see if you can get an answer. You'll probably have to remove the lens again to access the part number.

As for the damage, what's done is done, but I removed the rears by working the front end of the lens, not the rear.

I emailed the seller to no response.. Yet. Hopefully he'll answer. And are you suing it doesn't fit right because it's so far away from the rear side ? My luck I get defective sidemarkers.

And also the light bulb never goes on, no matter what lights I turn on, they stay off. Is that normal?

That's only normal becuase those little #194 bulbs burn out so fast.

Yep. Search online and find pics. Wait... here's one.

Well no, of course that's not normal. Light bulbs should light up. That's what they do.

If it's an incandescent bulb, then it's blown. If it's an LED bulb, try turning it around in the socket. Most LED wedge bulbs have a specific polarity.

mine rears are loose, allways have been, you can slightly move them around, and it was a concern at first but its not going anywhere if it is properly installed.

the key here is ..... cheap aftermarket crap....

The reason you damaged the paint is because you pried out the original from the wrong end. You should remove the light assembly from the end that is towards the front of the car.

Is it common that the backs burn out quicker because the front ones are fine.. I'll just replace them. Maybe I'll post a picture of the light I have

in reality depo is still an aftermarket company, and you will always have little quirks with fitment from anyone but OEM.

^This. Aftermarket is aftermarket no matter how much you pay. Same goes with pretty much anything else you can buy for your car.

Ok... Well my DEPO front sidemarkers fit perfectly, they are an exact replica of stocks, just clear. They also came with an extra set of bulbs, which will come in handy. I just got a bad seller for the rear set, and wanted to see if I can fix the looseness, That's all
