The fan motor's bad, replace it as it's necessary to fix the problem.

Google much??

Rockauto.com $41.89 and it's in stock.

I don't know about the 2K3 but on my 2K it was easier to replace the entire shroud and 2 fan assembly for about $100 on Amazon. Looked like replacing just the motor was a lot of work and the other fan might go out soon also.

On the 2K both fans should be running with the AC on. If one isn't running then you have a bad fan motor.

Don't ever buy a universal fan for a Maxima. The maxima fans are 2 speed, the universals are not.

It isn't that much work to replace the motor....if you are replacing the entire shroud there is only one more step to replace the motor versus the entire shroud.

if you are 100% sure ur fans are bad, just replace both, go to rockauto.com and they're like $100 for both, if you go further than that to fix your cooling issue, get the tyc radiator from rockauto and go to nissan dealer to get a thermostat only use an oem thermostat, trust me on that.
