SES Light Code P1800 and P0011

My Mechanic told me that its most probably just the camshaft position sensor left and right and we should try to replace those first and then see what the outcome is. I am just wondering if this is all it could be or should I be looking for something else and is this the correct diagnosis? thanks for any help.

I just had P1800 and all I did was to replace the VIAS BOP Plate.

Just quickly read up on P0011. You might want to start with the Camshaft Position sensor, replace it that is. I oderder mine as I have the P0340.

Today I replaced the BOP Plate, MAF Sensor, and am planning on replacing the CPS tomorrow.

Here is the link to how to replace the camshaft position sensor:

Video is towards the bottom of the thread.
