I took an exacto knife and put 2 small holes through the cloth, then ran a zip tie through the holes and wrapped it around the strip to hold it up. A twist tie or something similar will work too. It's not very pretty, but it works and nobody will ever see it unless they are crawling around on your floors.

Hopefully this won't start an argument, but cwolfse ignore them, some people on here attack others that know less than they do. Don't take it personally. I'd love to see pictures.

I just read the whole thread and I'm a bit confused. Does anyone know which fuse they would normally hook up the leds to? I know each fuse receieves power at different times, so im wondering which fuse you guys would use?

I want my footwell Leds to come on whenever im in the car (driving, etc). But they should be turned off when im not present. I don't want to go through the hassle of using a switch because i am fine just tapping into the fuse box.

You can use a test light (its called something else, but i can't think of the name right now, you use it to find the voltage of a wire) and turn the car on and test the fuses, and when you find one that works when the car is on, shut it off and see if its off.
