Strut Assembly
Alright, im new to this and should have started a profile sooner, but late is better than never. Im in the process of lowering my maxima, and so far i have purchased new struts all around and Megan Racing lowering springs. I want to basically 'build' new strut assemblies so i can just replace it all, just wondering if anyone can help finish my shopping list. Thanks

this is the only way you can get all the parts without going to a junk yard
http://www.courtesyparts.com/maxima-...2046_2048.html
go there you can find every part, maybe a junk yard is better in my opinion.

Already spoke with the OP, but for any future members that come across this thread...
1. Strut mounts/bearings are recommended to be replaced when they've been in commission for more than 50k miles.
2. Building new assemblies 'off the car' is great in theory. But there are 3 parts that are difficult to find, expensive, and just plain dumb to buy. Those parts are: 54034, 54036, 54322.

Valid, but some individuals prefer the longevity and 'set and forget' ease of a spring/strut combo.
Also, the price differential is wholly based on the spring and struts chosen. You can come way under the cost of coils depending on your selection.

Yes that is a decent point. Most coilovers in that price range aren't built as well as what you'd get if you spent the same amount on the components to build struts.
The new Tein's are super competitively priced though, something to keep in mind.
