Driver side wiper not catching water

So my problem is that for some time low my driver side windshield wiper hasn't been catching most of the water when it comes back down. I have tried replacing the wipers, but no good. I use Rain X Latitude wipers so I'm getting good ones. Is it something to do with the spring in the arm or the arm itself? I called Nissan and the lady said that it sounds like some pins that hold the arm together might be loose or missing. What do you guys think? Any ideas?

Are we talking highway speeds or sitting at idle?

Highway speeds. Idle is fine. It never used to do this a few years ago so I'm thinking something is going out.

Blades are lifting off the glass. Not much you can do about it with the RainX blades. Happens to me.

Not sure if the Valeo Ultimate's are better.

That was another thing I was thinking of. Maybe it is the Rain X Latitudes. Are there any other curved style blades that don't lift?

I had the same problem with a Michelin Stealth hybrid wiper blade. I bought them because there was a promotional sale on them at Pep Boys. I replaced it with a Bosch Icon blade like I had on there before.

The driver's side wiper blade is large, and if the blade has alot of arch to it, it won't make contact in the middle because it can't lay down flat enough on the windshield.

I had the same exact problem with the michelin's on the driver's side. Right before, I left to get a replacement, I decided to bend them to the point where I thought they would break, but it fixed the problem.

i didnt know wipers were for catching rain?only clearing it away and just where does this caught rain go?is it used is the Mr.Fusion to go back in time? but anyway OP check for a out of shape wiper arm or bend it slightly to add tension.

So, I tried the whole bend the wiper thing to see if it would fix my problem, and I guess I bent it too much and made it worse. So I decided just to go a buy some new ones, instead. I was debating between the Bosch Marathon's, for I heard good things about them on Maximas, and the Rain X Fusion's. I went with the Fusions, and so far all good news. I had a slight bit of rain on my way back and the worked great. Hopefully this is my problem solved.
