What model of the Uprev Cipher should i get for my 03 Maxima 6spd? Is there any better alternative?

I have the same question, anybody got a link to this haltec software? I have seen the cipher its looks amazing

 

The cipher I think is around $200, haltech is what, $1600?

 

What are you exactly trying to do ? Tune or just have access to read codes?

There is no "model" of uprev cipher. Cipher is Cipher. If you want to just read codes and do simple diagnosis its great. Haltech is for tuning. Also with Cipher you can advance your timing to 17 degrees which will give your car a bit more pep.

If he just want to check codes just get a code reader at advance auto lol... 70% the time its a o2 sensor code anyways... If its tuning and pricing is a factor then go utec....
