Should have gone with the electro film, and its "electrochromic" not chromatic to avoid future confusion. I think it is fairly cheap and it is really cool. Better looking to me than some flip out plate. Not my cup o' tea

Fairly cheap? No.

It's also super hard to find. If you ahve a source on it LMK because I can't find it anywehre except china, and it isn't cheap to even get a sample/lic plate sized piece over here

I know a guy that can source them from overseas, def not china, for less than $600. I have been trying to get one for almost a year. Ever since I saw them use it on Super Speeders I have wanted one. However, you can buy it online http://caryshop.com/

I know a guy that has one on his Nsx, with the touch of a button the plate would black out!

I might do the licence plate thing on the G (black-out). Would suit it well when parked.
