2012 Maxima Rims

Hi fellas, I just put the 2012 maxima rims on my 2000 maxima. They look hot, problem is the lug nuts that I have don't appear to sit properly in the rim. Does anyone know about this? I just ordered some nuts from ebay that acorn at the point of contact with the rim, I hope it works. I think these rims look better on my car than it does on the 2012

Sorry fellas, I will take pics tomorrow and yes it is the standard 245-45-18. I had chrome rims on there before. They were heavier, man when I put these on and I step on the gas it feels so much easier to take off either from stop or while driving.

You need shank style lug nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go get them right away it's not safe driving with just those style lug nuts, they don't hold those wheels properly, and you will (may have already) damaged the surface where the Shank lug Nuts are supposed to rest.

Those wheels look sick. I really like them. Get the right lugs and problem solved. How much did you pay for those wheels if you do not mind me asking?

if Courtesy is listing correctly, then I was wrong, those are just a standard lug nut that is a bit longer

Wheels are nice...just kinda iffy on a 5th now that I've seen it. To each their own.

Tosheto you and everyone else would die if I told you I only paid $400 for the rims with original like new tires that were already balanced. Crazy right?

Yeah, personally I dislike those rims, even on the 7th gen they're nothing special at all.

These are the only 7th gen rims I'd consider

That's a great deal, but to play devils advocate, you have the wrong sized tires for your car on there now, yes?
If those are 7th gen size then they're quite a bit bigger than 5th gen size, increasing your ride height and throwing your speedo off (second part is who-cares, but increasing ride height is a biiiig negative, especially when adding bigger rims!!)
The picture you posted looks to prove this, that thing looks like a 4x4 with big meaty bulging tires. Overall, I'd have stuck with stock 17" rims.

And The guy who sold them was probably happy to get $400. He'd have been lucky to get $500, those rims aren't worth much in the aftermarket IMO.

Anyways, not my intent to hate here, your happyness is all that matters and thanks for sharing the new look!
