2001 nissan maxima oil leak problem

hi everyone,

I need help,

I just bought 2001 nissan maxima but Unfortunately, There was some oil leak problem with car.

I attached picture where the oil comes from.

Is there anybody to have idea , what is the problem on it.

And How much will it cost to repair ?

I will take mechanic to look up it before than I want to help from you.

Oh wow, that's more than a leak. Your car is pissing all over the place lol follow that write up select127 posted and you should be good as new Good luck with your new *used* 5th gen, and welcome to the forums!

hi guyd again,

I reparied my nissan at chevron auto center,

as you said the problem was power steering horse.

they replaced the problem was power steering horse with new one and refill the fluid.

parts cost $160 and $40 fluid and lobor cost was $200 and total price got

$400.

it was unbelievable. I dont know the this is common problem

How I can avoid to face same problem again ?

Its not hard. You should have done it yourself, or taken it to the Dealer for that price.

Agreed. $400 for a hose swap!? Sheesh -.-
